Detachment Location: NAF Cam Rahn Bay, South Vietnam

The squadron flew advanced base patrols out of Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam. The squadron received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for Search and Rescue operations conducted to find an EC-121 aircraft lost off the coast of North Korea, as well as the Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal for service in Vietnam.
